On November 24, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China released the fifth batch of names for National Industrial Design Centers, and CATHAYA Group's Industrial Design Center was recognized for its leading design capabilities in the field of silk and its deep integration of technological innovation and industrial design. As a result, it became the first "National Industrial Design Center" in the silk industry of Zhejiang Province. The center possesses a high-level design team led by professors and experts, as well as professional production equipment. It specializes in providing customized services for external thematic design innovation. By enhancing product added value and strengthening core competencies of enterprises, the center promotes the sustainable and healthy development of the industry, as well as the transformation and upgrading of industrial structures.
In the future, based on the development of the silk textile industry, we will leverage the center as a platform and make full use of our own resource advantages. We will strengthen internal and external exchanges and collaborations, and along the paths of green sustainability and digital intelligence, we will intensify our efforts in technological innovation. We are committed to introducing, assimilating, and absorbing new processes, technologies, and concepts from both domestic and international sources throughout the entire silk industry chain, such as mulberry cultivation, silkworm rearing, silk reeling, weaving, and dyeing. We will design and develop fiber, yarn, fabrics, clothing, digital collections, intelligent platforms, and other solutions with independent intellectual property rights that lead the silk industry. By continuously enhancing the center's technical proficiency and influence, we aim to lead the development of CATHAYA Group's silk textile industry.
